MATT WHITE PAINTED KITCHEN, TWICKENHAM
THE CLIENT'S BRIEF | Bi-fold doors, and skylights were added to the back of the extension to this home. The kitchen was to be positioned towards the front of the new space, which would get less natural light. The aim for this kitchen was to be as bright as possible, and for the cabinets not to feel as though they are fitted into a corridor. The client wanted to have a space for everything whilst maintaining a minimal aesthetic.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
To achieve the minimal look, appliances, and bins were integrated and pan drawers with a pull out larder gave practical storage. Matt white cabinets with slab doors were used to create clean lines, with space above the cabinets for easy access and not to enclose the area. LED lighting was added to the pelmet and below the peninsular worktop to create more light. The peninsular was added to zone the kitchen and dining area making if feel less of a passage.
